SYNERGY 2010 ORGANISED AT ST. JOSEPH'S

CHANDIGARH : After the stupendous success of the Cultural Event at St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, it was now time for the Junior Wing to showcase its talent in the Annual Drill Display ‘Synergy 2010’. There was mass participation with around 1400 students taking part in the event. The function was presided over by Mr. S.M. Sharma I.P.S. Additional Director General Police, Information Technology and Telecom (Punjab).
The function commenced with the Welcome Song and the Hoisting of the School Flag. The audience was visibly impressed by the precision with which the March Past was conducted by House representatives. The adorable tiny tots of Play Class danced their way into our hearts as they gyrated to the tune of Coco Jumbo. The children of Pre K.G. set the grounds ablaze with a riot of colours with their Rainbow Drill. The little cherubs and fairies of KG cast their spell on everyone with their Fairy Drill. The patriotic fervor was brought to the forefront with the enthusiastic ‘Bravo India’ – a dance by Class I. The Primary Block presented a myriad of items from Class II reminding us of the importance of saving our beautiful and endangered birds to Class III dressed as Robots suggesting that the day is not far when machines will become indispensable to us. Students of Class IV attired in vibrant costumes representing various states of India and Class V with Western Dance earned a well deserved applause and appreciation by all. The function concluded with the effervescent Beats of Punjab - the Bhangra which had everybody enthusiastically tapping their feet.
30 National Players were honoured on this occasion.
